We are one of the leading insurance companies in the United States.  Our superior financial strength and consistent record of strong operating returns mean security for our customers - and opportunities for our employees.  You will find Travelers to be full of energy and a workplace in which you truly can make a difference. We are currently looking for a Senior Identity Management Architect.  Please read on for more details regarding this position. JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY:The Security Infrastructure & Architecture group is seeking a senior Identity Management Architect to play a leadership role in a multi-year Enterprise Identity Management program. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge and hands-on experience of implementing the Sun Identity Manager product, and an outstanding grasp of advanced Identity Management concepts. PRIMARY DUTIES:- Work with other security architects to design enterprise-level identity provisioning and management solutions using Sun Identity Manager- Lead the design and development effort for an enterprise implementation of Sun Identity Manager- Oversee the integration of business applications with Sun Identity Manager, based on defined business requirements- Ensure technical documentation is maintained and kept current- Enterprise Role engineering and management- Assists in the creation, maintenance and communication of the Identity Management roadmap- Builds and leverages effective alliances within and across the technical and supported IT/business units- Responsible for all aspects of staff management and directing team members to achieve deliverables wherever necessary OTHER:Education/Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MI or related field, or equivalent education and experience- Prior experience of implementing Sun Identity Manager for a medium or large organization is essential- Detailed knowledge of Sun IDM concepts, such as user provisioning, credential management, XPRESS development, workflows, forms, application integration, attestations/remediations, ActiveSync, resource adapters, reports and roles- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and ability to articulate IAM concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization- Working knowledge of LDAP (Active Directory and Sun Directory Server), RACF, Java, .NET, UNIX- Knowledge of SOA and Web Services- Familiarity with SPML, SAML and XACML- Security certification (CISSP and/or CISA) preferred In addition to an exciting environment, we offer: * Competitive base salary with additional opportunities for variable pay through recognition programs and incentive awards * 401(k) with company match* Comprehensive health plans that include coverage for same sex/domestic partners* Strong work/family and employee assistance programs* Tuition reimbursement * Vacation Purchase Plan* Training/Development opportunities We are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees' needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
