WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?Responds appropriately to agent's inquiries from inbound or outbound telephone calls regarding the sales and service of financial service products Assists agents with financial product selection, forms, web based applications, and sales tools as related to the sales process Provides written reports and illustrations in support of agent requests Trains and educates agents and other internal departments on financial services and related topics Supplies input concerning product development and marketing decisions
WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?Maintains awareness of competitive industry trends to provide technical investment information in response to agent inquiries Competent in making presentations and facilitating group discussions Comprehensive knowledge of financial products such as mutual funds, bank, life, annuities, long term care insurance and retirement products
ITEMS OF NOTERequired to possess and maintain the NASD Series 6/63 licenses May be required to work irregular hours during period of heavy workload or to meet deadlines May be required to work nonstandard work hours or workweek Job could require travel via commercial transportation and/or driving motor vehicles Other licensing may be required
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Employee must secure/possess and maintain NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses within 3 test attempts, and be eligible to be sponsored by State Farm VP Management Corp. In addition, employee may be required to work nonstandard work hours or work week. We ask candidates to commit to 18 months in our area.
Employee role is specific to the Internal Sales Associate responsibilitiies within Agency Sales Support.

Specific job responsibilities:
Virtually drives an increased production of Financial Services products through coaching Agency Field Leadership, State Farm agents and team members.
Builds strategic relationships with field leadership in supporting State Farm agentsand team members.
Proactively contacts targeted Agents and Field Leadership to share sales ideas, best practices, strategies, competitive information, economic updates, marketing and sales resources, product line initiatives, and specific sales recognition.
Provides proactive conversations and activities to meet production goals with a needs based approach. (i.e.) use of State Farm Insurance and Financial Review (IFR).
Responds appropriately to agent s inquiries from inbound or outbound telephone calls regarding the sales and service of financial service products.
Maintains awareness of competitive industry products and trends to provide technical insurance and investment information in response to agent inquiries.
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert as the need arises.
