REGULATORY AFFAIRS SPECIALIST
Selected candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, and be responsible for numerous regulatory-related activities for three (3) insurance companies and one (1) insurance agency, particularly:state and federal regulatory reporting and filingmonitor state and federal agencies for changes in reporting and filing requirementsmanage the licensing and appointment process for sales agents and claims adjusterscoordinate regulatory activities with the various business units within the company
The qualifications of a successful candidate include:A positive "can do" attitude, team player, and a desire to deliver exceptional customer serviceAt least three years of relevant experience and undergraduate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in the insurance or financial services industry preferredAbility to perform under moderate supervision and resolve problems of varying complexity on own initiativeAbove average MS Office skills with emphasis on Word, Excel and AccessAbility to research issues, from opinions and draw conclusionsAttention to detail and highly organized
