Zurich Integrated Products, based in New York City, is comprised of our domestic suite of products including both Specialty and Casualty lines. We are seeking people who enjoy a collaborative work environment and have a passion for participating in start up ventures. Responsibilities: The ideal candidate for this position will manage an underwriting unit as well as the selection and denial of new and renewal Errors & Ommissions business. Additional responsibilities will include administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating manuals. This person will market Zurich's products and services through an agency or through the brokerage community and be responsible for developing/maintaining these relationships. He/she may underwrite the most complex and/or largest risks. This position has clear and distinct accountability for business results..Job Qualifications:Seven or more years of E & O underwriting experience required with a focus on Misc. E&O. Would consider a combination of broker and carrier experience. Ability to manage and build rapport with team is required. Excellent organizational, written, oral communication and presentation skills required. Must have an advanced knowledge of the insurance industry and the legal and regulatory guidelines. Six months to one year of supervisory or management experience preferred. Must have established Producer relationships. Excellent negotiation skills required. Bachelors Degree requiredBenefits:
