For more information, please visit www.prudential.com Rate Calc Associates will collaborate with internal and external business partners to effectively manage our client's expectations. They are required to perform clerical and moderately complex technical duties in analyzing Request For Proposal (RFP), client census data, plan design elements and monitoring timely release of rates to our national Sales offices. Rate Calc Associates may investigate questionable RFP submissions and non-standard plan request elements. Additional duties may include, but are not be limited to:            *       Prices initial Request for Proposals and Requotes for an assigned region in a defined turnaround timeline  *       May Operate Short Term Disability (STD) experience pricing tools*       Maintaining pending files and performing timely follow-ups*       Communicating with Sales Associates (SA) and Sale Reps to clarify plan design specification *       Furnishing daily, weekly, and monthly statuses*       Participating in team projects A Mandatory shift of 12-8pm will be required for 2 months out of the yearStrong analytical skillsMath proficiencyStrong and accurate Data entry skillsGood organizational skills with attention to detailGood Communication skills (oral and written)Ability to work independently, but also as a part of a teamStrong interpersonal skillsDemonstrates initiative and motivationPC Knowledge (Microsoft Word/Excel)Flexibility and responsiveness to changeAbility to prioritize work based on the business needsHandle a high volume of work accurately and in a timely mannerFlexibility to work extra hours to meet objectives The Prudential Insurance Company of America and its affiliates, Newark, New Jersey are Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employers and are committed to diversity in our workforce.
