The Nurse Consultant utilizes clinical skills in a collaborative process to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate options and services to facilitate appropriate healthcare outcomes for members enrolled in disease management programs.A Nurse Consultant: - Provides members with health care information to drive member understanding of his-her health condition(s) and possible options - Interpersonal Communication - Interacts with Medical Professionals - Reviews and evaluates clinical history to identify needed medical services - Research and resolve eligibility related issues regarding member specific information Required Skills: - Registered Nurse (RN) is required -One to three years disability experience - long term disability, short term disability, FMLA experience - Microsoft Excel - Microsoft Word
