Basic Function: In this position, you will be responsible for data analysis and model development supporting new product development, risk analysis and marketing models.Qualifications - Education:Required: - B.S. in quantitative discipline, e.g. statistics, mathematics, engineering or finance.Desired: - M.S. in quantitative discipline, e.g. statistics, mathematics, engineering or finance. Industry qualifications, e.g. CPCU or ARM. Qualifications - Work Experience:Required: - Minimum five years experience performing quantitative analyses, preferably insurance or finance. Desired: - Experience with data mining or formal expert elicitation. Qualifications - Technical Skills:Required: - Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets and databases. Understanding of probability and risk modeling techniques.Desired: - Skill using and developing applied probability models. Experience with Monte Carlo simulation.Qualifications - Non-Technical Skills:Required: - Ability to work closely with underwriters and deliver results on tight schedules. Ability to work autonomously on large and varying workload. Strong verbal, written and visual communications skills.Qualifications - Other:Required: - Some travel
