Quality Consultant

Major Duties and Functions Include: THIS IS NOT A SENIOR OR OPERATIONS LEVEL POSITION. Provide process improvement support based on opportunities identified by the IDI QMS model, including: Processing mapping and documentation. Development, tracking and reporting of Quality metrics. Trend and root cause and cause/effect analyses. Identification of Process Measures. Change recommendation and testing. Implementation of change and monitoring. Conduct periodic focused audits of staff and conduct periodic audits of various new business processes. Prepare and deliver reports to the management team. Work with functional areas to develop key performance indicators and related metrics as well as documenting work procedures for core processes. Participate in special projects as directed by management. What You Need to Succeed: Knowledge of performance management and improvement concepts, which may include: process mapping, quality Systems, including ISO 9000, Baldridge, etc. Knowledge of Project Management phases and software. Understanding of business performance drivers (e.g. Sales, Revenue, ROI). 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, with 1-2 years experience using project management methodologies and tools. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously directly or indirectly through project teams. Ability to work independently, manage time and objectives to consistently meet aggressive deadlines. Demonstrated ability to communicate successfully and develop strong relationships at all levels within management, including senior management. Strong communication skills. Strong capabilities within Micro Soft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Micro Soft Project, Lotus Notes. Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
