ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

In this position, you will execute test cases aimed at finding and resolving defects in an application. This position reports to and has accountabilities with the QA Lead/QA Supervisor/QA Manager and has responsibility to interact with co-workers, external clients and agents.

 

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday

# of People on Team: 3-4 People

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Executes test cases.

2.  Enters and tracks product defects.

3.  Understands SQL queries and manual testing.

4.  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONSAssociate’s degree or 4 years work experience in the insurance or software development industriesAt least 1-2 years experience as a QA in a QA environment, or knowledge of LTCG applicationsMaximum 2 years IT or computer industry-related experience preferredMaximum 2 years insurance, claims or financial services industry knowledge preferredAt least 1 year client server testing experience, web based or data warehouse experienceBasic SQL skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, including:Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and a professional demeanorDemonstrated team player, problem solver and decision makerGood analytical and problem-solving skillsGood written and verbal communication skills descriptor
