OPPORTUNITY:

We have an immediate need for a Proposal Specialist in our Irving, TX office.  As a Proposal Specialist, you will complete responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) for potential clients, typically local and state government entities and self-insured employers. In addition to writing compliant, persuasive proposal text in response to the RFP requirements, you will also review and edit responses provided by others.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Complete Request for Proposals to a high standard within specified deadlines
- Maintain database of proposal information
- Assist in the review and production of all proposals
- Prepare follow-up material such as presentations and clarification requests

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related discipline
- 2-5 years marketing experience in the insurance industry or proposal writing / marketing communications
- Workers Comp or Liability claims management experience strongly desired
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Good communication skills
