Founded 60+ years ago, my client is a progressively growing company who specializes in providing P&C insurance to medium to large businesses in general industries. With their current person (30+ years) in the role close to retirement, they have an IMMEDIATE NEED for an experienced Senior Account Manager so as to efficiently transition business. This is a family owned Commercial Property and Casualty agency supportive of outside education. While small in # of employees, this agency handles some very handsome sized accounts, average size $250 to $500k in premium.   They are looking for an ideal candidate with over 15 years experience in commercial Property and Causality. This is a unique position in the fact that this individual will be managing one of the largest books in Troy, a book of business ranging from $7.5M to $10M in premium, largest account $1.5M in prem. Winning candidate: High degree of self-discipline and motivation yet know how to relax and have fun in a friendly and cooperative work environment. Generalist who has extensive knowledge of commercial P&C insurance coverages and risk management strategies. Someone who loves to wear multiple hats and has the ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks, projects and people. This is a critical position within the company this is both challenging and rewarding.
