Property Claims Specialist - Outside/Field Adjuster

We are seeking an experienced Property Claims Specialist to handle claims in the Maryland/Delaware region. Our office is located in Nashville; however, this position is an outside property claims adjuster position which requires the individual to work out of their home. A company car will be provided. In this position you will evaluate, investigate, negotiate, and settle primarily commercial property claims of all sizes while operating on a highly independent basis. Experience handling first party property coverage’s (including inland marine), business interruption, and commercial estimating are definitely a plus. Strong investigation, problem solving, policy interpretation skills, and time management are essential. Requirements: This self motivated professional will be an integral part of the claims team. We require a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, AIC, CPCU or other AEI coursework. License (By State) and 6+ years of property claims experience is preferred. Travel is required for loss inspections. Prior experience as an outside adjuster working of their home is preferred.
