Project Manager

Grade KThis position is responsible for managing all aspects of corporate business priorities (“Projects”) from inception to successful completion, including leading, planning, and budgeting. FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: 1. Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and manage to completion assigned Processing Accounting projects.2. Support all phases of business project life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, control and closing. 3. Coordinate identification, resolution, and communication of all system modifications, enhancements, and performance issues. 4. Responsible for overseeing the completion and communication of the business specifications for each project and/or system enhancement. 5. Function as the coordinator/facilitator of the teams assigned to each project.6. Responsible for coordinating communication between profit centers, other support areas, and agents regarding changes in procedures, workflow, etc. 7. Assist various areas (i.e. Billing, AR, AP, etc.) as needed to provide support and bring issues / concerns to the appropriate individuals/departments. Will require obtaining an understanding of the various systems used (i.e. PMS, UBS, CDS, GAINWeb, APES, IVR, APS, and various electronic payment methodologies). 8. Prepare a budget for each project and/or deliver cost benefit analysis as appropriate.9. Report project status (including schedule, cost and quality), risks and issues in a timely and accurate manner to all the stakeholders of the project. 10. Represent Processing Accounting in participation of other “corporate projects” led by different Project Managers. 11. Respond to customer complaints/issues in a timely and efficient manner. QUALIFICATIONS:Four-year professional degree and/or comparable education & experience plus five years experience in a business analytical position required. One to three years of project management experience in an insurance environment preferred. Must have strong organizational and analytical abilities to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects with set deadlines. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues into an easy-to-understand format such as written proposals and strategies is also needed. Should possess excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver presentations, facilitate planning/strategic discussions, and mediate the decision process in a group setting and create win/win outcomes.
