Program Underwriting Account Manager, Medical Facilities

It's a smart move.Responsibilities: Considerable technical knowledge, extensive Underwriting experience in the Medical Professional market with background in Medical Facilities. Understanding of the underwriting, customer service and processing of exposures, hazards and coverages associated with this industry. Demonstrated ability to develop and attain growth objectives in business plan while maintaining underwriting quality and customer service objectives. Ability to maintain productive agency relationships. Ability to foster teamwork, build supportive relationships and motivate and influence others in achieving common objectives across multiple disciplines. Demonstrated analytical, interpretive and evaluative thinking. Keen problem solving skills in adapting strategic underwriting direction to specific underwriting issues and business opportunities decisively. Excellent negotiation, organization, project management & communication skills. Program's background is a plus.Requirements: College Degree or High School Diploma and equivalent business experience. Seven to ten years of experience in professional lines with exposure to medical facilities preferred Manage a line of business, segment, producer group or a population of risks of common complexity. Coordinate an approach in the achievement of profit goals. Provide leadership, direction and management in the risk selection process. Manage the internal underwriting review process, including ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and procedures, identification and correction of deficiencies. Develop and maintain effective business relationships with our current program managers in order to attract, and retain profitable business for the segment. Develop and execute growth and profitability strategies in assigned programs and effectively demonstrate strong program management skills.
