Program Leader
The Programs Division of Brown & Brown of California Inc., is a growing insurance Program Management organization underwriting risks on behalf of multiple insurance companies. We are part of the National Programs Division of Brown & Brown, Inc. which manages or administers over 50 different programs. We are a group of driven, innovative and ethical people that want someone with the same qualities to become a “Program Leader” for us.
This person will be responsible for the underwriting, profitability and marketing of an up and running Professional Liability program. Job functions include:Responsibility for driving revenue growth of a professional liability program as well as supervising the underwriting and support staff.Responsibility for the U/W quality and integrity of the assigned program.The primary technical resource for the staff – underwriting, coverage, competition, workflow, and procedures.
Requirements include 5+ years Professional Liability insurance underwriting, with experience in both managing a program and people. Four year college degree preferred. Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
