Production Billing Specialist

Job Summary 

As a Production Support Billing Specialist you will perform a variety of tasks within the Billing and Settlement Department, including but not limited to daily account reconciliation, identify, research and ensure the proper implementation of billing production resolutions and enhancements. Transaction processing and/or correction. Is responsible for handling complex processing issues under limited supervision.


1.Assists in determining solutions for billing problems.

2.Communicates with relevant groups to identify and evaluate upcoming billing requirements and concerns. Communicates these requirements and concerns to staff and participates in evaluation to determine potential requirements and feasibility of new billing ideas.

3.Reconciles cash received and billing systems; i.e. FutureFirst, Genesys and Ingenium.

4.Performs reconciliation research. Identifies critical errors in processing to attention of Supervisor or Manager. Assists in problem resolution.

5.Monitors/reviews Administrative system reports. Ensures that problems are identified, researched and resolved in a timely manner.

6.Provides Management information reports as required and requested; i.e. AML, Risk Mgt, BCP and BPD.

7.Drafts and maintains procedures.

8.Reviews departmental operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; including SOX exams and Market Conduct exams. Ensures that internal controls are maintained or improved

9.Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2 year associate degree or equivalent accounting work experience
• Advanced Excel/PC skills
• 2 years related work experience
• Self motivated
