JOB SUMMARY: Supports the  oversight and management of an  commercial General Liability, Property and Garage Liability  product(s) staff function. Develops and/or enhances  underwriting products and services  Coordinates efforts between Product Staff and Regions.   Aids in the development  and  assists with the implementation of strategies that support multiple product related profitability objectives. Supports  regional  and  operations functions. LOCATION:  ScottsdaleRELATIONSHIP: Reports to Underwriting DirectorDIRECT REPORTS: None but may oversee project team  members as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITEIS:1. Serves as product/underwriting expert for General Liability, Property and Garage Liability. Serves as subject matter expert to Underwriting Division for related products and processes.2.  Monitors product performance, identifying opportunities to improve performance, working with line operations to implement new and enhanced products3. Monitor ISO bulletins and related regulatory issues and support form development as needed.4. Supports initiatives to address the product strategy, and growth and profitability objectives.5. Provides technical assistance and consultation to regional underwriting and program department.6. Supports Development of training solutions including conducting and coordinating training for respective lines of Business.7. Serves on various project teams as assigned. Leads related project teams as assigned based on business need.8. Performs field visits to review issues with agents, state/region leadership and service centers.9.Performs other related duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education/Knowledge: Bachelor's degree or post-graduate studies preferred. Relevant professional designation such as CPCU highly desirable. Requires proven knowledge of property/casualty products, insurance company operations.  In-depth knowledge of assigned product line required.Experience:  Eight years underwriting product related  experience.Skills: Demonstrated decision-making and analysis skills of coverage, including form development. Ability to  communicate with  leadership, staff management and other departments.. Ability to lead  project  team members in all aspects of product/underwriting activities.Staffing Excerption to the above minimum job requirements must be approved by Product/Staff Executive and Human Resources Management.JOB CONDITIONS:Overtime Eligibility: Not eligible (exempt)Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
