Process Improvement Manager
A Leading Insurance Company located in New York is searching for a Process Improvement Manager who will handle the following responsibilities:
- Partnering with the profit centers’ stakeholders (Business Owners, Champions, Process Owners) to drive process improvement delivery through exemplary process design/improvement/management skills using proven best practice techniques such as Lean Six Sigma or equivalent
- Identify, qualify, select, structure, and prioritize process improvement projects that are aligned with the Operational Excellence overarching goals
- Lead one or many complex, high-visibility projects across multiple divisions and profit center areas
- Provide hands-on team leadership and process improvement subject matter expertise
- Help define and manage key stakeholder expectations and drive the successful delivery and completion of a process improvement project
- Drive Value Stream Mapping, definition of “As-is Analysis,” Future State, and the deployment/transition to future state
- Facilitate the development of a solution by conducting vision workshops, conference room pilots to flush out as-is and to-be designs, developing and refining supporting policies/procedures
- Facilitate the development, assessment and implementation of key (business) performance measures (KPIs)
- Facilitate executive briefings, progress status reporting, definition of measures and generate project ideas
- Provide on-the-job training to the business as needed as it relates to driving process improvements
Qualified Candidates will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science; MBA a plus
- 10+ years of experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Qualified in Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Black Belt or led (with primary budget, resource and delivery accountability) large-scale business transformation projects from soup to nuts with a large premium consulting firm (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC Consulting, etc)
- Working knowledge and proven experience working in a complex technology/ERP/systems implementation environment a must. This is not a technical job (no programming skills needed) but ability to communicate effectively with technical or IT process and business owners a must)
The total all-in compensation range is from $160,000 to $210,000 with excellent benefits (medical, dental), and 401k plan with match.
