Process Engineer

Due to continued growth and success, Doral is adding a Process Engineer to our Operations Management team. The focus of this role is to pursue cross functional operational efficiencies and issue resolution through process improvements and reengineering of end-to-end processes within the Government Operations Business Unit. This role will help facilitate the anaylsis of root cause issues or the delivery requirements from a cross-functional and cross-department perspective. This role takes a strong engineering and metrics-driven focus on identifying and reducing non-value added activities in our processes. This role will also drive efficiencies across our departments and improve downstream operational results in areas such as customer service and  claims operations. Specific responsibilities include:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Process re-engineering and design

· Cross-Functional / Cross-Departmental facilitation and definition of process improvements to drive efficiencies and diagnose / resolve issues.

· Root cause analysis and system analysis.

· Definition of cost/benefits of solutions and integration into Enterprise Operations model.

· Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

· Engineering Degree (industrial engineering) 8-10 years experience in consulting with emphasis on process and system engineering; strong orientation to process improvement metricsBig 4 or boutique consulting experience working with large/complex organization IT Projects and change management; experience with Six Sigma and other quality programs.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Effective organization, prioritization, negotiation and influencing skills.
