Private Investigator (Surveillance)

Experienced field investigators needed for large, multi-state detective agency headquartered in Maryland, specializing in the surveillance of insurance claims.  There are full-time and part-time positions available in multiple states including MA CT RI NY PA NJ DE MD VA WV NC SC GA FL OH IN IL KY TN AL AR LA MS & TX.  Each requires a fair amount of travel and a willingness to work weekends and some holidays.  We offer a very competitive salary, company vehicle, health benefits, 401K, paid holidays, company cell phone, company laptop and surveillance equipment.  There is also great potential for advancement as we are currently licensed in 26 states(and counting) and always promote from within.  This is not just a job...it is a career.  A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are essential traits.  Strong candidates must be detail-oriented and able to write coherent reports.

Employees must first be able to satisfy Police and FBI background checks and licensing requirements, have a valid driver's license, have weekend availability and a flexible schedule.  Once licensed, the ability to stay overnight while on assignment is a necessity.  Investigators must possess verbal communication skills along with written skills.  Some computer knowledge is helpful.  Investigators will be required to write detailed reports and be able to present them when testifying in court proceedings.  Lastly, the job requires honesty, integrity and teamwork.
