Policy Services Associate

This position is responsible for processing new business applications, endorsements, cancels and other customer and business need requests in a Policy Service Team.   Responsibilities & Objectives· Review and evaluate source documents for information, integrity and eligibility, enter data into policy processing system for new and existing policies within acceptable standards for quality and timeliness.  · Achieve and maintain quality and productivity levels that meet expectations. · Underwrite and process incoming applications, endorsements, cancels and other correspondences in accordance to underwriting guidelines as outlined in our on-line system and state laws. · Process functions and reports as assigned by a Supervisor or Lead. · Investigate and solve basic problems pertaining to application, endorsement, quotes and cancellation processes, being responsive to customers.· Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.· Present problems and concerns in a constructive manner. · Provide back up support to the phone groups as needed.· Perform other duties as assigned. PREREQUISITES Education· High school diploma or equivalent Experience & Skills· Prior customer service experience preferred.· Ability to learn processing functions.· Excellent problem solving skills and verbal/written communications skills. · Basic math skills. · PC experience preferred.  · Must have acceptable keyboard skills.  Candidates must be able to work 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
