Northern California Re-Inspector
Overview:
Responsible for material damage audits covering a multi-state area.
*The territory for this position will be Northern California, from Fresno, CA to the Oregon Border.
Responsibilities:
• Review estimates of repair in the field to ensure quality and proper compliance to procedure
• Develop, monitor, and enhance the relationship with our appraisal source partners
• Identify old, inconsistent, and/or overlapping damage.
• Identify excessive repair times and incorrect repair vs. replace decisions.
• Record variance and/or have estimate of record adjusted accordingly
• Ensure proper parts usage per established company and industry guidelines.
• Ensure labor rates are consistent with agreements or prevailing rates in the area
• Reach agreed prices and completion dates with repair facilities on estimates reviewed
• Provide reports as needed
• Ensure compliance with state laws and regulations
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience is required
• Minimum of five years auto appraisal experience is required
• Previous personal auto claims and/or repair experience
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, & communication skills
• Ability to pass written Claims Representative licensing examinations where applicable
• Experience in using an automated appraisal system such as CCC, Mitchell, or ADP
• Experience using ProcessClaims
