JOB GROUP SUMMARY Continuous quality improvement is more than a buzzword it's how we meet customer needs and control costs. Through Quality Management professionals, we put industry-leading practices and principles to work in support of our quality objectives. POSITION SUMMARY Participates in the development and ongoing implementation of QM Work Plan activities. Improves quality products and services, by using measurement and analysis to process, evaluate and make recommendations to meet QM objectives. -Analyze member feedback and other measures of quality - Communicate and implement new change metrics -Conduct focused examination of conditions requiring correction, and develop a precise definition of the problem -Create a model for improvement to address gaps in healthcare quality management guidelines -Design new metrics that will drive desired change behaviors - Perform clinical audits - Define the problem or problems by describing the root causes creating them - Microsoft Excel - Turning Data into Information - Use change metrics to monitor effectiveness of the change effort - Develop and implement quality management programs and initiatives - Identify action items to address problem areas gaps Required Skills: Candidates will be involved in quality and process improvement, tracking and trending and identification of training opportunities for team members. Registered Nurse license(2-4) years of medical/surgical experience Quality control or audit experience, infectious disease or Medicare experience helpful
