Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993. The Allstate Motor Club Call Center is an inbound call center that strives to provide exceptional customer service and emergency road service support to Allstate Motor Club customers, Allstate Insurance Company customers, and several third party clients. This job involves answering 50 to 80 inbound emergency road service calls per day from stranded motorist, and securing service for these customers through outbound phone calls to contracted and independent service providers.  As an emergency road service representative you will be required to work weekends, and maintain an exceptional attendance record. As an emergency road service representative you will need to meet or exceed call center objectives including but not limited to attendance, quality, customer satisfaction, average handle times, and other performance standards. This position requires efficient computer skills, the ability to learn new software and products easily, and organization skills that allow the employee to access information easily. As an emergency road service representative you will be responsible for collecting data about a customer’s situation, interpreting the data collected, and determining a solution for the customer. As an emergency road service representative you will need to use previous Customer Service experience and skills to gather important information, identify customer concerns, work through difficult problems, calm aggravated customers, and deliver difficult news. As an emergency road service representative you will be asked to adjust your schedule at times to respond to customer demand and call center adjustments. Additional responsibilities include working independently, maintaining a positive attitude, dependability, and organization.
