Marketing, Underwriting and Customer Service Department Manager

This is a great opportunity for a senior level insurance professional.  This position will be the agency’s main point of contact for developing carrier/agency relationships and appointments.  Position will also oversee the operations of the customer service department and be responsible for workflow and process improvements. Position will also be responsible for eventually developing the agency's Package Products Program and underwriting team.

 

Compensation

This is a senior level management position and the salary will be commensurate with experience.  There is the possibility of a future equity stake depending on experience.

 

Requirements: Property & Casualty Insurance License  - CIC, CPCU, and other designations a plus Minimum 5-7 years Independent Agency experience preferred Minimum 5-7 years Insurance Carrier experience preferred Minimum 3-5 years marketing experience P&C Underwriting experience Experience with developing Packaged Products Strong eye for detail and multi-tasking skills The ability to see the big picture in terms of agency improvement Independent worker with excellent oral and written communication skills Professional manner, excellent organizational skills, strong negotiation and problem solving skills
