Advance your career at Wausau Signature Agency, a member of the Liberty Mutual Group- A Fortune 100 Company! In this role, you will manager the marketing activities of the Marketers, Marketing Support Specialist and Marketing Assistants for an assigned area.  You and your staff will participate in the marketing and grown of an assigned book of business through agents to reach Wausau Signature Agency's profit and product mix objectives.  You will assist agents in providing insurance products for existing and prospective clients through Wausau Insurance Company and outside markets based on established marketing plans. 
 Responsibilities: Responsible for recruiting and hiring of staff.  Conduct training on procedure sand systems. Responsible for managing staff's performance and development. Manages staff activities to ensure quality marketing activities for new and remarketed business.  balances resources to ensure that each sales unit has appropriate marketing support. Responsible for new business marketing activities including account analysis, identification of coverage needs, selection of markets and negotiation of coverage and price. Responsible for identifying key markets and cultivates market relationships to meet book of business objectives.  Manages the placement of business to secure market relationships. Oversees all aspect of the proposal preparation; may participate in pre-proposal and proposal presentations. Develops alternative risk management strategies, including captive programs, retrospectively rated programs and finite risk.

Qualifications: Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent business background along with a minimum of 7 years experience marketing various commercial property and casualty lines of business within an agency. Excellent written and oral communications skills with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization. Must have strong negotiation  and organizational skills and a high level of perseverance in meeting deadlines. Ability to problem solve, exercise independent judgment, explore alternatives and creating innovative solutions Ability to work in an environment of constant changes.
