Marketing Account Manager

The Buckner Company is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Marketing team. The primary responsibilities of the candidate will be to perform Account Manager and marketing duties. Insurance expereience and/or a college degree is prefered but is not required.

 

Position Requirements:  

Property/Casualty license is preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Client retention & service

  Act as a liaison between producer and client

  Build lasting relationships with clients

  Has market knowledge, keep up on Carrier underwriting guidelines and changes

  Help cross sell existing clients

  Market new business for existing clients

 

2. Develop and Maintain Company Relationships

  Meet with underwriters, marketing and other company representatives

  Monitor premium volume and loss ratio for partner companies

  Develop and build lasting relationships with partner companies.

 

3. Invoice New Business

4. Input accurate applications

5. Update applications once the account is bound

6. U/W in U/W out

7. Maintain client files

8. Handle all client service needs (Questions, changes, etc)

9. Form a business relationship with Producer keeping them updated on important client information.

10. Work as a team and help other members of department when needed

11. Develop positive relationship with agents

12. Miscellaneous clerical duties as needed to maintain adequate service to our insured’s and Producers.

13. Quote online those companies needed for their department

14. Prepare applications

15. Ability to perform the job functions of the assistants
