Managed Care/Insurance Customer Service/Call Center
Our client, a large Insurance provider located inthe Bronx is looking for 40 Customer Service Reps for an indefinite project. These positions are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm. There is potential for these positions to go permanent.
These positions will start immediately and require a firm commitment through the end of the year. Please be up front about appointments and vacations. This will not affect your eligibility.
We are looking for candidates who posess the following:
Associates degree or equivalent business experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook as demonstrated by the effective use of both applications to accomplish work assignments
Bilingual: English/Spanish, English/Madarin/Catonese, English/Russian a plus, Other languages will be considered
Minimum of one year experience in managed care customer service, with demonstrated success in achieving quality and productivity goals
Professional service skills characterized by serving as an advocate for members and providers and producing high levels of customer satisfaction
Strong interpersonal and communication skills characterized by ability to listen carefully, respond appropriately to others and be persuasive without being offensive or overbearing
Demonstrated ability to understand detailed policies, procedures, plan provisions and practices and relate them to customer questions and problems
Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate solutions that are satisfactory to the customer
Enthusiasm, self-motivation and resourcefulness
Ability to work productively with limited supervision
Have a high level of integrity as demonstrated by:
Appropriate treatment of confidential information
Adherence to policies, procedures, rules and regulations
Professional conduct in dealing with persons internal and external to the organization
Sensitivity towards the target population is essential
