Your major responsibilities will involve: 1. Completing commercial properties surveys and/or casualty insurance surveys 2. Scheduling appointments 3. Traveling to property sites 4. Gathering underwriting information 5. Completing the appropriate form via a computer 6. Calculating square footage 7. Drawing CAD diagrams and taking digital photos We are looking for individuals who possess some of the following knowledge and skills, and/or experience: 1. Knowledge of commercial lines underwriting and loss control concepts 2. Prior experience conducting surveys - commercial property, inland marine, construction, commercial automobile, or workers' compensation 3. Excellent interpersonal communication skills 4. Strong verbal and written communication skills 5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel - CAD experience a plus 6. Ability to work independently 7. Strong work ethic 8. Valid driver's license The position requires some overnight travel, and you will work from your office at home to complete all work assignments.
