Major Duties and Functions Include: Ensures decisional accuracy and timeliness of all LTD decisions, monitor and analyze reports to ensure customer and organizational expectations are met. Works with customers to negotiate, arbitrate, and resolve issues, concerns, and expectations regarding process, service and performance guarantees. Manages risk and performance of assigned team and claim block consisting of over 1,000 open active LTD claims Accountable for ensuring team performance with delivery on customer commitments and high quality claim decisions which includes intimate knowledge of actions and decisions made by members of team and appropriate coaching and performance management to address any discrepancies Responsible for identification and delivery of action plans to senior management. What You Need to Succeed: 5+ yrs of LTD knowledge. 5+ yrs of Team Management Experience. Ability to enhance team goals. Proficient in MS Office program. Able to communicate to all levels with in the Disability Organization. Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
