Litigation Services Cost Analyst

We are looking for a Litigation Cost Analyst I for our Cincinnati office. This position will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing law firm invoices.

This position will be responsible for verifying compliance with billing guidelines and preparing notification letters. Will review consistency, quality, and timeliness of invoices. The incumbent in this role will also be responsible for handling inquiries from law firms regarding the receipt and review of invoices, and will handle inquiries from business units regarding billing. Receives and organizes law firm responses to our inquiries. Performs Intake of law firm invoices into the bill review software. Participates in special projects including investigation of outstanding invoices, special audits, addition of new firms, and the weekly error report. Participates in maintaining correct data in our database of law firms.

Must have a paralegal degree or certificate and knowledge of the litigation process and related documents and procedures. Knowledge of law firm hourly billing procedures is also required. 1-2 years of experience in Insurance law or general defense litigation preferred.
