Life Insurance Case Manager
Euclid Managers located in Itasca is seeking a Life Insurance Case Manager with a minimum 2 years individual life insurance experience.
Euclid Managers is a privately owned Third Party Administrator. We are conveniently located north of Lake Street off of I-355 / I-290 and have been in business for over 50 years.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To provide service to broker clients by processing and managing new business quotes and case underwriting of individual life, annuity and long term care prospects/clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Process and manage the underwriting of individual life, annuity and long term care cases. Work with broker to determine proposed insured’s premium objectives and strive to achieve. When necessary, shop cases to alternate carriers.
Quote and market impaired risk cases.
Handle all details of policy file, including:
· Data entry and update of agency management system
· Compiling and processing necessary information
· Ordering exams, APS and other necessary information
· Reviewing policy for accuracy, forwarding to agent and follow up to placement
Close contact with broker clients to explain products, services of the agency and promotion of sales. This may include agent sales calls (in conjunction with the Sales Representative), mailing of marketing materials, attendance at trade shows, etc.
Market and promote term conversions of expiring policies.
Work with carriers to stay current with underwriting guidelines and policies (may include attendance at carrier event when needed)
Update carrier library with company products and underwriting niches as needed.
Provide routine service as may be necessary
Routinely evaluate agency system to determine if technology advancements are needed
Recognize life settlement opportunities and promote
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education Requirements:
High school diploma.
College, professional designation or technical education not necessary but preferred.
License and Experience Required:
Minimum of 2 years life insurance experience required.
Required Abilities:
High level of organizational ability.
Self-motivated individual, ambitious, willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Detail oriented with strong mathematical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work at a quick-pace and under deadlines.
Ability to perform well under pressure.
Ability to present oneself in a professional manner.
Ability to function well in a team as well as with people from all levels of the industry, internally and externally.
Ability to operate a computer proficiently using a Windows environment.
Working Conditions:
Overtime may be required during peak periods.
