Licensed Property & Casualty Representative
Job Description:
Provides service to clients and prospects by determining needs, quoting and selling Property & Casualty insurance
Duties:
* Answers incoming sales calls from potential clients; quoting and following up with customers and prospects.
* Determines clients' particular needs and matches needs with insurance products.
* Obtains underwriting approval by completing applications for coverage. Deals directly with underwriters for exceptions.
* Completes policies by getting signatures, payments and all required trailing documents.
* Updates license as required by state insurance commissioner.
* Enhances agency reputation by accepting ownership for building internal and external relationships.
* Develops referral resources through contact with customers, realtors, banks and mortgage brokers.
