JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the direct sales of insurance and insurance related products over the telephone.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Take inbound calls and place outbound calls related to insurance sales and sales support. Shares accountability with the team for delivering service and quality to clients. Quality and production standards must be met. Process related paperwork or documentation. Participate in ongoing training and development, including mandatory continuing education. Acquire and maintain the appropriate insurance licenses with assistance from the Licensing department. Assist in the training of newly hired agents and representatives. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience



SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED: At least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Analytical ability at a level sufficient to understand and resolve various issues that arise. Ability to prioritize effectively and successfully complete multiple tasks within assigned deadlines. Proficiency in using a PC. Sales / customer service experience preferred. Excellent verbal & written communication skills Ability to adhere to schedule & attendance guidelines. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to work with others in a team environment.
