Job ID: 18378 Posting Title: Large Contractor Managing Account Executive Working Location: Atlanta, GA Employment Status: Full-Time Job Summary: Responsible for leading and managing a team of Large Construction Underwriters in our Atlanta office. Must have experience writing $500k+ property, casualty and specialty accounts. Manages an underwriting unit comprised of two or more professionals. Manages the selection/denial of new and renewal business. Administers and monitors underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating manuals. Markets companies' products and services through an agency plant or through the brokerage community. Develops/maintains significant agency/or broker relationships. May underwrite most complex and/or largest risks. This position has clear and distinct accountability for business results. Job Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent7 or more years of related experience. Experience writing $500k+ property, casualty and specialty accounts required. Previous supervisory experience and Construction Underwriting experience preferred.1. Advanced knowledge of line/s of business.2. Ability to manage and build rapport with team.3. Excellent organizational, written, oral communication and presentation skills.4. Must have an advanced knowledge of the insurance industry and the legal and regulatory guidelines.5. Six months to one year of supervisory or management experience preferred.6. PC literate.7. Must have established Producer relationships.8. Excellent negotiating skills.
