Long & Foster Insurance Agency, Inc., a full-lines independent insurance agency,  is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Long & Foster Companies. Long & Foster Insurance is recognized as one of the Top 25 Agents/Brokers in the Washington D.C. area by the Washington Business Journal.  We seek an experienced Insurance Marketing Representative for our Montgomery/Prince Georges, Maryland territory.

 

In this role, responsibilities include creating brand awareness of the agency and its products and services throughout the L&F footprint, establishing partnerships with our affiliate companies to promote a ‘full-service’ environment to L& F customers, and attending Long & Foster sales meetings and events as well as local events within the community to increase visibility. Work with individual real estate sales office Branch Managers on a plan to increase market share in that territory.  Quote and sell property/casualty insurance products.

 

To qualify, you must have 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in insurance or the financial services industry.  Property/casualty insurance experience and agent’s license strongly preferred.   Excellent presentation and professional writing skills as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office, required.  College degree preferred.
