Insurance Claims Adjuster
SGD Inc, an established California Independent adjusting firm, is seeking a top quality, experienced, Property Claims Adjuster. Compensation commensurate with talents. Benefits are available, including paid time off.
The desired candidate should meet the following criteria:
Write claims reports, property estimates, evaluate contents losses. Make justified and documented claims handling suggestions based upon the facts and policy language. You MUST be able to analyze coverage, write your own Xactimate estimates and be able to settle large losses. Have a familiarity with ISO policy forms and Manuscript policy language.
If you have property loss adjusting experience and are also a multi-line adjuster with some auto or truck adjusting experience, compensation will reflect these talents.
You must have a full understanding of the Fair Claims Regulations. Xactimate or similar estimating experience is required.
This is a field position. You must be able to lift a 50 pound ladder, drive distances, climb onto roofs and under homes as needed. With reasonable accommodation.Mold exposure is a possibility.
