Insurance Accounting Manager
Title: Insurance Accounting Manager
Salary: $ 95,000 to 110,000
Location: New York City
· Responsibilities: Manage/prepare/review quarterly & annual SEC filings, annual report, quarterly earnings press releases and quarterly summary package for CFO.Review of technical accounting standards and their impact on the company. Manage/prepare/review corporate budgets and budget to actual reports. Manage/review monthly & quarterly operating expense closing and manage/prepare/review summary reports. Special projects as necessary. Skills/Experience: Candidates are required to have either a Bachelors or Masters Degree in accounting and financial reporting experience. CPA, Must prior SEC reporting with insurance or reinsurance industry experience preferred.Proficiency with Word, and Excel.
Candidate must have strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, be highly motivated and able to effectively deals with all levels of management.
Minimum of 5 years experience of Sec insurance or reinsurance reporting with a CPA
