JOB DESCRIPTION:
CPI IT has an opening for a Technical Analyst on the Masterpiece Realtime and E-business Support Teams. As a TA, you will be responsible for leading implementations of enhancements to our Realtime application and web portals.

As a Technical Analyst, you are accountable for:
-Managing system enhancement projects within our Masterpiece Realtime application, Web Portals and associated applications.
-Working with team leaders and architects to determine and schedule future enhancements
-Providing technical leadership and mentoring of team members
-Understanding established processes then recommending and implementing procedural improvements.
-Demonstrating ownership and accountability for team technical issues and implementing solutions for them.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
•Senior level experience in VA Smalltalk.
•Excellent communication skills. Candidate must possess the ability to discuss application-related issues with both business and IT professionals.
•Ability to identify common obstacles and barriers to effective implementation
•Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships within and outside of own area and maintain credibility with clients and teammates.
•Ability to influence key individuals inside and outside of own group. Use language appropriate to audience.
•Demonstrated ability to observe another person in action and offer assessment and feedback.
•Demonstrated ability to coach one or more people on a specific skill or subject area.

SKILLS PREFERRED:
Experience in ENVY, Java, WSAD/RAD, JSPs, Javascript, MQ, DB2, XML/Schemas is desired but we will train.
