The Product & Acquisitions Tools team seeks a .NET software developer for an exciting opportunity. The PAIT Tools team is responsible for envisioning and creating tools to support multiple application development, QA and service delivery teams in addition to business users. This individual will be responsible for identification, analysis, design, development and implementation of tools to support both development efforts and business initiatives. This person will be involved in gathering requirements, designing solutions, and delivering with quality solutions in a timely manner. This dynamic environment offers a tremendous amount of potential for individuals to develop strong technical skills, gain valuable business knowledge, and have a positive impact on the organization.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience:-Minimum 3 years developing and maintaining complex, web-based applications using Microsoft technologies and C#.-Relational Database Development using MS SQL Server-Knowledge of object oriented programming concepts and their implementation-Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Skills-Strong interpersonal skillsPreferred Skills, but not required:- Source code management systems (VSS, TFS, PVCS) knowledge- Knowledge of Progressive IT systems At Progressive, status quo won't cut it.
