USAA is currently seeking a talented Human Resources Analyst-Diversity/EEO for our San Antonio, TX location. As a Human Resources Analyst-Diversity/EEO for USAA, in this position you will be responsible for the analysis and reporting of complex business information to management across USAA. The individual typically works with other analysts who are responsible for delivering informative reporting, analytical summaries, observations, and recommendations. The work directly supports senior management through special studies, metrics, and research projects. Job duties: Prepares business-related analyses and research in one or more of the following areas: workforce planning, Human Resource issues, and monthly workforce forecasting. Leads significant special studies and fulfills the most complex information requests. Determines optimum methodology for retrieving and analyzing current and historical data. Serves as information expert for People Services Data Warehouse and the Business Intelligent reporting tools. Understands complex data mart designs. Performs situation analyses and provides recommendations in support of continuous strategic and operational planning which may require creative approaches and new data sources. Prepares operational and strategic briefing materials for senior management in support of major programs and functions. Studies and communicates broad downstream implications of recommendations. Qualified candidates need to possess: BA or BS or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of progressive analytical experience. Must be well-versed in a wide variety of data reporting, retrieval and analysis tools. Must have good presentation skills and experience in building briefings for management. Demonstrated capabilities of data analysis tools and techniques, such as PeopleSoft systems, Cognos and Data Warehouses. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient in statistical analysis to identify trends and recommend courses of action to include process improvement. Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to rapid and constant change. Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information and demonstrate sound judgment, initiative and decision-making skills. Preferred experience includes: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field. Breadth and depth understanding across all HR data systems, data warehouse and data marts. In-depth, contemporary knowledge of performance metrics and measurement disciplines, analytical tools and databases utilities. Experience with preparing AAPs and data for EEO/AA Plans and compliance audits. Working knowledge of the Virtual Edge applicant tracking system or a similar ATS. Experience working with OFCCP requirements.
