USAA is currently seeking a talented Human Resources Advisor - Time Off Work Programs for our San Antonio, TX location. As a Human Resources Advisor - Time Off Work Programs for USAA, you will provide advice and support to all levels of enterprise management and internal partners on broad PS and business related issues. You will develop and implement strategic and tactical solutions that influence changes in culture, management practices, and work environment. You will respond to inquiries pertaining to PS and business policy and process application. This is the second level of the PS Advisory hierarchy. Job duties: Provide advisory support to management on broad business processes and programs. Analyze situations, determine effective solutions and work with management to implement. Assist in identification of requirements and development of business plans related to PS or business processes and programs for the CoSA's served. Provide broad consultation services to managers on issues relating to selection, reward, retention and other PS or business processes. Facilitate resolution of problems with conflicts complicating the situation. Engage appropriate support to assist with bringing closure to engagements. Qualified candidates need to possess: BA or BS or previous job related experience. 2 years of HR or related work experience. Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office products and other software to be used to develop analysis, charts, learning modules and/or supporting documentation. Preferred experience includes: Thorough understanding of employee time off and leave programs, disability management terminology and best practices. Employee relations and/or benefits experience. Vendor management and strong systems technology experience.
