Position Description:
Partner with HR Business Partner (Director) and VP, HR to drive strategic plans and support the execution of these plans, programs and initiative throughout the Corporate and field organizations/business units. Act as a strategic business partner to senior management, consulting on all areas of HR. Align with HR Business Partner (Director), HR leadership team and Center of Expertise team members to ensure consistency of policies and procedures
Management Responsibilities:
Partner with HR Business Partner (Director) to drive programs and projects. Act as a liaison between functional HR areas and business units to direct HR and business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Partnership/Talent Management: Performance Management: drive and monitor the effectiveness of performance management, goal setting and employee development plan initiatives.Compensation plans: advise on administration/recommendations and drive/develop incentive/sales compensation plan (work closely with business unit and Compensation area)Succession planning: Administer/monitor succession planning Work with Director to execute plans to address concerns from culture assessment.Gather and analyze data for specific initiatives and program designs while working closely with functional HR support areas (diversity programs, incentive plans, local reward and recognition programs, etc.)Employee Relations: facilitate resolution of employee relations issues for functional areas.
Workforce planning/ Recruiting:Work to, develop and implement a people/workforce programs that align with business strategy that is customer focused while increasing the business line economic value added. Proactively manage ongoing execution against workforce plan in partnership with the appropriate Recruiting team members.
Compliance/Legal/Quality Assurance: Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and provides input/guidance as needed on employee relations issues and investigations.Educates HR and customer group about current and emerging business/HR compliance/legal issues Administers controls in compliance with established policies and procedures.Qualifications:Minimum of 4-6 years of Human Resource experience with functional expertise. Able to handle employee relation issues and skills to coach managers and supervisors.PHR or SPHR designation preferred. Able to effectively work in a team environment collaboratively and have the ability to stay neutral and calm in cases of crisis.Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and current HR regulations.Strong project management planning and organizing skills required.
Education:
Bachelors degree (HR preferred)
