Erin Group Administrators, Inc.

 

Erin Group Administrators, Inc. is a growing, local health insurance administrator that has an immediate opening for a professional, experienced Administrative Assistant. This role is to provide, with minimal supervision, general administrative functions and complex secretarial duties to support the CEO. The Administrative Assistant must prepare for, and support, activities that are expected and unforeseen by maintaining a highly organized work environment. This includes a disciplined follow up process for scheduling and completing tasks necessary to provide an efficient/productive workflow. The Administrative Assistant is the "face" and "voice" for the CEO in many interactions with employees, customers, brokers, and vendors. The Administrative Assistant needs to understand the importance of confidentiality and exhibit professional behavior at all times.

 

As a growing company Erin Group Administrators, Inc. will enable you to learn various aspects of the TPA and insurance businesses while assisting the CEO to effectively support all the stakeholder groups. This position will allow you to utilize acquired skills and have a positive influence on the efficiency of the executive office of a growing organization.  

 

Job Requirements:

 

Three to four years experience in business administration, including experience as a secretary or administrative assistant. Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to handle telephone calls with internal and external contacts in a highly professional manner. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective and efficient document management and strong organizational skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  Establish and maintain a highly organized and professional office environment. Coordinate and manage executive schedule and events. Keep management abreast of significant issues that may require attention. Maintain strict confidentiality and use good judgment in dealing with sensitive issues. Establish and maintain an efficient document management process, including contracts, licenses, graphs, charts and presentation materials. Coordinate and assist CEO with preparation for meetings and events. Follow-up on outstanding requests or projects from management team. Manage and coordinate office needs including general supplies and sales/marketing material inventory. Complete special projects as assigned.

 

Skills and Experience

  Demonstrated experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to compose correspondence, construct presentations, generate charts and spreadsheets. Can handle calls with tact and diplomacy. Demonstrated ability in professional, clear and articulate oral and written communications. Uses appropriate language and displays excellent grammar. Has excellent organizational skills. Can work independently. Shows initiative in being able to direct own activities with minimal direction. Ability to assess a new situation and take appropriate actions. Has experience in handling both moderate and complex customer service situations in a professional and calm manner. Has ability to monitor and manage projects to completion.
