Work as an Enrollment Administrator for one of the leading group of benefits providers in the state of MD.

From analysis of benefits, efficient enrollment and regulatory/compliance issues, to containment measures and bottom line requirements, this company helps employers and human resource managers often navigate through the benefit process.

Earn $10 - $12 per hour at this full-time, direct hire position.

Job Description:

BASIC FUNCTION:

Accurate review and processing of incoming enrollment information.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Process incoming subscriber additions, terminations and changes accurately within the given time frames in enrollment & billing system, as well as all relevant insurance carrier systems. Ensure that all applications are entered consistent with carrier performance standards regarding quality and timeliness, as well as internal performance standards. Research and accurately process any necessary retroactive adjustments in the system and all relevant insurance carrier systems. Communicate effectively and interact well with personnel in all other  departments. Ensure that all written correspondence sent to carriers is accurate and professionally presented.

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES NECESSARY: High School diploma, some college preferred. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy Experienced and skilled in computer systems in a windows based environment. Demonstrated ability to articulate clearly and effectively. Superior written, oral and listening communication skills. Expends sufficient effort to meet day-to-day and special objectives. Consistent level of output equal to or greater than manager's standards. Takes initiative to always be productively employed at maximum capacity.

STANDARD HOURS: Minimum corporate hours are 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required to achieve business objectives.
