Eligibility Maintenance Processor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESMaintain and update information into automated billing and eligibility systems.Issue letters to members and employers regarding eligibility, termination, verification of department eligibility etc. Verify eligibility. Determine last day of coverage and employer eligibility.  Make appropriate adjustments in systems to correct billing. Adjust system and prepare refunds and transfers due to overpayments, terminations or cancellations. Update and change member information in Claimfacts, Groupfacts and/or COBRA systems when appropriate. Answer phone and written inquiries. Any clerical duties assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTSKnowledge of Claimfacts, Groupfacts, and COBRA system.Knowledge of Fund System.Tpying skills 40 WPM preferred.Accurate mathematical skills.Strong communication skills (verbal and written)Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Knowledge of eligibility rules for all Funds and ALICARE clients.Knowledge of claims, claims payment, and benefit structure.Ability to meet deadlines.

Our offices are currently located in New York City, however, before the end of the calendar year we will be relocating to the White Plains area of Westchester County.
