Manages the delivery of loss control services to meet customer/agent expectations and improve loss results, customer satisfaction and policy retention. Directs the Commercial Loss Control vendor survey-processing center. Develops, manages and monitors performance and quality standards of small account loss control vendors. Develops and monitors loss control budgets, allocations, systems and automation activities. Identifies emerging loss control issues. Monitors compliance and adequacy of controls. Manages vendor and internal loss control staffs.Position Requirements:Supervises assigned personnel. (See attached description of Supervisory Responsibilities.) Establishes and monitors the method, frequency and categories to evaluate internal staff and vendor procedures, quality and productivity. Responsible for internal and vendor quality reviews, selection, pricing and contracts. Develops vendor interface policies and procedures. Develops and monitors quality control, production, efficiency and service performance goals for the HO Commercial Loss Control Processing Center and internal loss control staff. Monitors and reconciles bills and payments for vendors. Recommends, designs and monitors loss control department computer systems and automation requirements. Identifies, manages and tracks state loss control regulatory compliance requirements. Analyzes and reports prospective legislation or regulations affecting loss control operations. Recommends changes to minimize adverse impacts. Provides technical support to ensure procedure compliance with state legislative requirements. Maintains contact with regulatory and industry organizations. Establishes, designs and implements loss control operating policies and procedures for internal vendor staff. Develops interface procedures for commercial center underwriting units and loss control. Develops and maintains procedure manual for loss control operation and standardized loss control report format for internal and vendor use. Develops, tracks and manages the HO-Loss Control budget, loss control vendor contractor budget and allocations to support commercial center writing and surveys. Identifies, designs and implements loss prevention programs, service and products for agency force, policyholders and loss control staff to reduce exposure to loss, support financial goals and improve customer satisfaction and account retention. Performs other duties as assigned..
