Director of Information Technology

A successful South Shore company is looking for an experienced Director of Information Technology to join our growing organization.

Primary Responsibilities:  This position will provide daily hardware and software support for the Company; including help desk, LAN management, disaster recovery support; data safety and security provision; voice communications, email  (Microsoft Outlook) as well as various ad-hoc responsibilities.  The Director of IT will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Microsoft Access 2002 application used by Finance, Eligibility, and Customer Support personnel.  This position will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the SQL Server database.  It will manage user requests and problems regarding all Information Technology infrastructures.  The Director of IT is a member of the management team and will responsible for supervising the Network Manager and Programmer/Analyst in the department.  

Education/Experience Requirements: BS in Computer Science or equivalent organization Four or more years in professional IT employment, preferably in healthcare Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are required Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP experience a must.  Our sites are all PHP based. XHTML, CSS proficiency are important AJAX experience a plus
