Now, increasingly, we operate as TNS - one company with a global presence and a unique range of solutions, making us a leader in the market information industry.Job DescriptionThis position will be responsible for the pre-concepting phase of the Product Development and Innovation (PDI) framework, particularly on providing analysis and context into insights creation and study design phases of the divergent phase of product development. Will tailor research to client needs and deliver fresh insight, leading to breakthrough innovations that help our clients plan strategically and develop stronger customer relationships. Will ensure insights tailored to delivering product benefits are kept throughout the research process in accordance to product development. This position will have a dual reporting relationship – direct line into the SVP, Product Development and Innovation and matrix reporting line into SVP, Qualitative.Required Skills Translate actual and observed consumer behavior into actionable innovations and applications for our clients Build a consumer immersion and assessment practice that can be leveraged across PDI in other sectors Create and execute a strategy for consumer immersion team in accordance with the Technology, Media, Telecoms (TMT) PDI vision Create and execute a 2009 sales support strategy with the TMT account teams Develop marketing and product prototypes that reflect the ethnographic insights and demonstrate proof-of-concept for new products, features or new communication programs.
