Data Center Supervisor- Must live within 50 miles of Albuquerque, NM

Essential Job Functions:

  Oversee and evaluate the operations and activities of the data center responsible for Direct supervision of all I.T. personnel in the data center Work with Regional CTO and Director of Technology to ensure smooth operations of the office, providing input on business needs/conditions and staffing levels to meet those needs Enforce the policies and procedures of the organization Provide technical advice and knowledge to others within the department and organization Analyzes computer systems networks to ensure effectiveness and efficiency; review connectivity requests to determine requirements for installation or modification Confer with managers and regional CTO and Director of Technology to determine information needs, to establish project priority and to assist with resolution of computer networking problems Troubleshoot network problems or systems failure involving hardware and software to determine the causes and possible solutions; implement solutions to resolve problems or notifies the regional CTO and Director of Technology of solutions requiring resources not available without other approval Develop bid specifications for the purchase of hardware or software used in the systems network development process Maintain awareness of changing trends and regulations which might affect the department and act on as required Develop and maintain a  Business Continuity Plan for data center and a Disaster Recovery Plan for the data center network Conduct team meetings, providing guidance and direction in accordance with overall strategy Ensure that I.T. staff utilizes technology to provide employees with a fast, accurate and secure method to access information, in order that customers can be serviced in a highly efficient and effective manner Ensure support is provided to “internal” customers in a professional, courteous and timely manner Deployment of PIC and Ultima software, including, but not limited to AFW, Sureclose (ECOR) and TitleSearch QA on New Technology Review and evaluate new Microsoft products First line of defense for disaster recovery Implement SISCO security policies throughout the region. Responsible for interaction with hardware and software vendors utilized by the company Assist the Regional Integrators, Plant Support, Hel Desk, RACs and Sureclose Support personnel for the region Approve allocated expenses and invoices to be paid Conduct timely performance appraisals on all direct reports and make appropriate salary adjustments Review and approve attendance calendars for all direct reports Resolve problems in the I.T. department, taking disciplinary action if necessary Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

  Extensive knowledge of computer network system design, development methods and techniques Extensive knowledge of standard computer languages and computer logic Ability to efficiently use the AIM System and Microsoft Office products 5+ years of network and end-user maintenance and administration in a MS and TCP/IP environment Extensive experience with MS Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 server Extensive experience with MS Windows 2000 through Windows XP Professional and MS Office 2000 through MS Office 2007

Educational Requirements:

  College degree in Information Technology Preferred High school diploma College degree preferred Technical Certifications Preferred (MCP, MCSE, MCDBA, A+. Net+, CCA, CCEA) Work experience in Title Field Preferred
